About TeeWire

We've run golf courses, not just software companies. TeeWire is the one system we wished we had behind the counter on a busy Saturday morning: the tee sheet, online booking, and the register, together.

Our Mission

TeeWire is a golf course tee sheet, point of sale and online booking platform, founded in 2016 by Bay Paul and based in Clarkston, Michigan. CourseLogix was founded in 2005 and built golf course websites and marketing for two decades. In 2026 the two merged under the TeeWire name, combining the strengths of both brands, which is why the course website and the software that runs the course come from one company. Development and support are 100% U.S. based.

Golf courses usually get pushed toward two things. One is booking-and-POS software that technically works but stopped improving years ago. The other is a so-called free marketplace that fills the tee sheet by taking a cut of every round and keeping the golfer's contact information. One leaves you stuck, the other leaves you dependent.

TeeWire is the third option. Online booking, the tee sheet, and the point of sale run together as one system in the cloud, with nothing to install. No commission on every round, no multi-year contract, and no waiting years for the features your course needs.

The job is straightforward: help courses fill their tee sheets, set their own prices, and keep a direct line to their golfers. Efficiency and revenue follow from owning those three things.

That's why we built TeeWire on a barter-free booking model: no inventory trades, no commissions, and no third party sitting between you and the golfers who play your course.

What We Believe

Like having your own dev team

Plenty of golf software runs in the cloud now, but most of it was written years ago and has barely changed since, never engineered to grow with a course. We build TeeWire the other way, with our operators: tell us what slows your day down or what your course needs next, and we engineer it into the tee sheet and the POS. It's the closest thing to having your own dev team, without one on payroll.

Software your staff can learn in a shift

Your seasonal counter help should be comfortable on the tee sheet by the end of their first shift, not their first month. We design for the person who was hired last week, not the one who wrote the manual.

Pricing you can see up front

No commissions, no setup surprises, and no contract that ties you down for years. You can see what TeeWire costs before you ever talk to sales, and it doesn't change because you had a good season.

We only do golf

TeeWire isn't a general booking tool with a golf skin on it. Every feature is here because a course operator asked for it, and we're glad to skip the ones that don't help a course run.

The register should be the easy part

Too much golf POS software is complicated, unreliable, expensive, or built to trade your tee times. The TeeWire POS is the opposite: simple, dependable, fairly priced, and barter-free, on the same system as your tee sheet and online booking.

Why TeeWire Exists

The Problem We Saw

Between 2008 and 2019, hundreds of U.S. golf courses closed, and the so-called free booking sites that promised to fill tee sheets were charging for it the whole time, in commissions, discounted inventory, and customer data the course never got back.

What We Built Instead

TeeWire gives a course modern, cloud-based booking without renting out its customer base to get it. You run your tee sheet, you set your rates, and the golfer who books a tee time is yours, with their email, their booking history, and what they spend at the register all in your system instead of someone else's.

The Result

More than 300 golf courses work with TeeWire across websites, marketing, tee sheets, and point of sale. The courses that run their booking on TeeWire take more reservations directly, lean less on the phone, and keep the margin that used to disappear into commissions, while their golfers get a faster booking and a course that actually knows them.

Our Team

Bay Paul

Founder & Chief Client Support Officer

Bay Paul founded TeeWire and CourseLogix and has worked in golf course operations since 2005. Two decades behind the counter, plus the technical background to build the software himself, is why TeeWire works the way operators actually need it to.

He spent years managing multiple courses at once, working inside the daily reality of tee sheets, POS, staffing, and customer experience. That is the background that shapes TeeWire today: keep it simple, keep it fast, and take friction off the plate of the owners, operators, and staff who use it.

He still works with TeeWire clients directly most days, which is unusual for a software founder and the main reason real feedback makes it into the product. His view is that technology should back up golf professionals instead of replacing them, and that automation earns its place by giving staff their time back, not by adding steps.

His work spans:

  • Golf course operations & revenue optimization
  • Online tee times & electronic tee sheets
  • Full-stack development & API integrations
  • AI automation & workflow design
  • SEO & Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
  • Cybersecurity & data protection

Jordan Trussell

Director of Product Management

Jordan Trussell runs product strategy, testing, and support at TeeWire, working alongside Bay on everything from implementation to feature design.

Before TeeWire, Jordan led large-scale digital transformations in tightly regulated government environments, running systems that held millions of records and turning dense federal requirements into software people could actually use. That is where TeeWire gets its standards for reliability, data integrity, and scale.

At TeeWire he owns the product end to end: roadmap, backlog, feature design, and launch. His job is to take what course owners and staff actually need and turn it into something the team can build, with every feature earning its place.

He is set on getting friction out of golf operations, helping courses take back their tee time inventory, protect their brand, and run leaner without handing control to a third-party marketplace.

His background spans enterprise SaaS product leadership, large-scale data migrations, legacy-to-cloud moves, and leading teams across engineering, design, and operations.

His work spans:

  • CRM and onboarding workflows
  • User experience refinement for golf staff and operators

His approach at TeeWire is simple: build fast, build it right, and keep the operator first.

Caleb Wagner

Web Development, SEO & AEO Specialist

Caleb Wagner leads website development and search optimization for TeeWire and CourseLogix, building course sites that bring in more direct bookings instead of just looking good.

He works directly with operators to turn what a course needs into a fast, mobile-first site that turns visitors into golfers. Every build is equal parts technical and marketing: it carries the course's brand and pulls its weight on revenue.

His work spans:

  • Golf course website design & development
  • SEO + AEO implementation for modern search platforms
  • Performance optimization & mobile-first UX
  • Content structuring for AI visibility
  • Integration with TeeWire online tee times

She handles most of the ongoing client edits and plays a big part in new course launches, holding each one to the same bar for performance, usability, and branding.

Inside the team she is the person you bring the strange edge cases to, the ones that take real platform knowledge and a bit of creativity to solve. She diagnoses fast and fixes cleanly, which is what keeps client sites stable and quick.

  • CSS styling and responsive layout refinement
  • Daily client website updates and content changes
  • Technical troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Supporting full-scale golf course website launches
